Welcome Service

At the beginning of September we gathered Bishops, Companion Kids, Novices, Companions and Staff in our Community Chapel to welcome our new Novices – Allison, Sophie and Isaac.

We began in worship, declaring ‘Jalali Yesu’ (Glory to Jesus), with accompanying shaky eggs and stamping feet. We read our Rule of Life together and committed ourselves to a time of preparation for making our Community Promise.

Bishop Martyn challenged us to reflect on the question, ‘what are you looking for?’ and Bishop Guli led us in a time of prayer and intercession as we move into a new season.
