Matt is moving on…

In January, Matt (our sub-prior) will be moving over the road to St Martin’s House to take up a new role in Leicester Diocese as Intergenerational Enabler. Matt will join the new Parish Transition and Ministry Development Team, helping to provide focused support to ministers, parishes, Fresh Expressions and other worshipping communities, within the Shaped by God Together transition. Particularly nurturing the Diocese’s Intergenerational Community priority.

Matt and his family moved to Leicester in August 2018 to join the community. For the past three and a half years, Matt has been serving as part of the Community leadership team. We are immensely grateful for his wisdom, creativity and playfulness, (‘let’s press the outrageous button!’). Matt has played a huge part in shaping what the Community has become. The residents and team will hugely miss Matt, but really excited by the possibilities his new role will bring and the prospect of future collaboration.

Matt and Rebekah will continue to journey with us as dispersed Companion members of the Community in Leicester. Please pray for them as they make this transition and find new rhythms of work and life.
