As of September 2023, the Community of The Tree of Life will be closing its doors. The Diocese's Ministry Experience Scheme will continue, however, with different accommodation arrangements.

The Ministry Experience Scheme in Leicester Diocese has three core elements:

MISSIONAL PLACEMENT

18-30 hours

Placement churches provide a context for ministry, accommodation, and supervision. We have city, town, and rural placements across a range of church traditions.

Study / Training

1 day a week

We will work with you to find a suitable programme of study or vocational training. Options may include New Wine Discipleship Year, lay ministry training or Diocesan courses.

LISTENING GROUPS

Gather regularly with other MES participants to eat, pray, listen, and learn. Build deep-spirited friendships and allow difference to enrich your worldview.
