An Internship in Imagination

Explore, participate and serve a range of communities and projects with Leicester Pioneers.

It could be a community café serving locally roasted coffee, a place of prayer or a foodbank. A heavy metal church, a shared garden growing heritage fruit & veg or gathering with others to explore questions of life and faith around a campfire.

All these initiatives have the love of God at their heart and are emerging to help people who would never normally come to church explore who Jesus is.

The Cornerstone Team are looking for an intern with a focus on children, youth and family work.

An opportunity to explore your calling, develop your skills, and grow your faith.

Who are Cornerstone?

The Cornerstone Team are based on the eastern edge of Leicester and includes three suburban village churches with an average Sunday attendance of around 250 people.

St Luke’s Church, Thurnby, is a busy parish church, with three weekly services attended by around 200 people.

St John’s, Leicester, are looking for an intern.Do you have a passion for working with youth & children? Are you gifted in worship or media?

Who are St Johns?

St John’s are one of the six resourcing churches in Leicester Diocese. They are involved in church planting and the development of missional communities. They have a strong partnership with St Johns primary school and have a growing presence in the local community.

Study

Combine your internship with a course of study. You will have the opportunity to study with iCYM, the New Wine Discipleship Year or St Mellitus, East Midlands.
