Friday Prayer

Since moving to our new Community House we have been exploring and developing our rhythms of #everydayprayer. We gather together as a community three times a day for morning prayers, lunch time prayer and Compline.

On a Friday we pray, non-stop, for seven hours! We would love it if you would like to join us…

WHAT WILL IT LOOK LIKE?

Each Friday we set aside our chapel for 7 hours of non-stop prayer. We start with our usual morning prayers at 8:30am, then pray without ceasing until our Community Eucharist at 3pm. Members of the Community take it turns to pray for 30 minutes or an hour.

In the chapel / prayer room we leave suggestions for prayer, inspiration, music and more. We want the chapel / Prayer Room to be an engaging place for all personality types to pray and hear from God.

HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?  

The chapel / Prayer Room will be open from 9am – 3pm each Friday. We divide this time into 30 minute ‘prayer slots’. We are inviting you to sign up to a prayer slot for personal prayer.
