Celebration Day

On the 11th of June we enjoyed a day of food, music, sharing and sunshine as we celebrated with those who have been part of the Community’s journey over the last few years. We were joined by residents past and present, companions and those who have accompanied the residents over this last year as we heard stories about some of the residents’ experiences. Some of them offered music and spoken word, sharing some of their creativity that has grown over the year. Rachel shared some of the story of the Community’s journey since she moved to Leicester in 2017 to become Prior. It is so exciting to reflect on how the Community has grown and evolved, and how God has been moving in individuals and in us as a whole.

We were also joined by Friends of the Community: individuals who have been supporting us financially and in prayer. It was great to connect with some of our friends, and be able to offer something back to them in our mutual partnership. We are so grateful to everyone who has journeyed with our Community and the residents over the past year as we seek to be evermore rooted, flourishing and fruitful!
