24hr Prayer Leicester- May

In March, we joined with Christians in Leicester and Leicestershire against Modern Day Slavery and Roots Intercultural Worshipping Community to pray for victims of modern day slavery and those who campaign to end it. The Dorcus Dress project, CLAMS and many other individuals signed up to pray over the 24 hours. The Diocesan Mother’s Union’s Knitted Chain visited the Community of the Tree of Life Chapel for the 24 hours, and on the Thursday we had Bishop Martyn Snow join us for our hour of prayer around the theme. Thank you to all who joined in!

For this month’s 24hr Prayer Leicester, the theme of our 24 hours of prayer will be Peace and Justice. We will be praying for peace and justice in our relationships, local communities, and all over the world. Our 60-minute prayer guide is being created in partnership with the Fellowship of Reconciliation: Christian peacemakers inspired by the life and teachings of Jesus. Go to leicestertreeoflife.org/24hrsleicester/ to sign up to pray and download the prayer guide.
